Grand Rapids Public Schools says an employee died in an accident on Tuesday.
Officials say the employee was part of the operations team.
The employee was using a riding lawn mower at Briggs Field athletic facility at the time of the accident.
The name of the employee has not been released.
GRPS says no children were around when the accident happened.
