Kent Co. Prosecutor: School threats can lead to charges

The Kent County Prosecutor says he is concerned after 15 threats were made against local schools in the past three weeks.

Prosecutor Chris Becker says of the 15 cases, charges have been brought in seven of them.

In one of the recent cases, Becker says a nine-year-old was responsible for the threat.

Officials say in most cases, students who are found guilty will get probation but the incident will go on their record for courts to see if they get in trouble again.
