The grant is part of the Touchdown in Your Town program that is funded by the Lions, Kroger, Planet Fitness and the United Dairy Industry of Michigan.
GRPS Athletic Director Marcus Harris says the grant will provide new football equipment, training equipment, protective gear and apparel.
