Michigan State University is adding metal detectors to Spartan Stadium.
Fans are encouraged to arrive to the stadium early.
Guests will not have to remove items from their pockets unless the metal detector alarm goes off.
Metal detectors are already in place at the Breslin Center and will be added to Munn Ice Arena, MSU Tennis Center and Wharton Center.
