The Kent County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fight that happened at East Kentwood High School on Thursday.
Video of the incident shows two students fighting in the hallway was circulated online which prompted a group of concerned community members to gather at the school to speak to school leaders about the incident.
EKHS Principal Omar Bakri sent a letter home to parents saying the actions in the video are disturbing and do not represent the school's values.
He says the school will respond in an appropriate manner.
