Grand Rapids Public Schools is offering free day passes to families affected by the late start date of Grand Rapids Montessori Elementary School.
GRPS is partnering with the Salvation Army Kroc Center and the David D. Hunting YMCA to offer free passes to students.
School was scheduled to begin Tuesday however the start date was moved to August 28 due to staff illness and construction delays.
A parent or guardian will need to stay with children while visiting either center.
