GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - Grand Rapids Montessori Elementary School will begin its academic year this Thursday.
That's two days after the scheduled start for Grand Rapids Public Schools.
GRPS says it is due to summer renovation delays.
Superintendent Leadriane Roby says staff members at the school need more time to get their classrooms set up.
