App pilot program will connect veterans with transportation

A pilot program is launching in West Michigan to connect Michigan veterans with transportation services.

An estimated 7.4% of Michigan veterans are living at or below the poverty level which can create problems when it comes to transportation.

The Michigan Mobility Wallet is launching in Kent County that will give veterans a place to connect with transportation.

The app will allow veterans to connect with Lyft, Uber, public transit and volunteer drivers.
