The James C. Veen Observatory in Lowell Township is offering an all-night event for enthusiasts to watch a meteor shower.
The event will be held from 9 p.m. on August 12 to 4:30 a.m. on August 13.
A Perseid meteor shower is expected to be at peak activity during that time frame.
The event is being held by the Grand Rapids Amateur Astronomical Association and the Grand Rapids Public Museum.
Admission costs $5 for adults and $2 for individuals under 18.
