The city of Grand Rapids is ranked 31st on the list of bike-friendly cities in Michigan.
The survey by People for Bikes found the city lacked accessibility to schools, grocery stores, and hospitals which led to the low score.
Mobile GR's Josh Naramore says the city has developed 120 miles of bike lanes and trails over the last decade, however there is still work that needs to be done.
