GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - The former Kensington School building on Kensington Avenue in Grand Rapids will be demolished.
The Grand Rapids Public Schools board voted unanimously last night to tear down the school, which closed nearly twenty years ago.
The building has fallen into disrepair. Upkeep was also said to be getting more expensive.
