Election results from Tuesday: Voters in Wyoming pass public safety millage

WYOMING (WOOD-AM) - It appears voters in Wyoming have said “yes” to a public safety millage that will lead to the hiring of more officers and firefighters.

Property owners in the city will have their taxes increase by 1.5 mills this summer, according to WOOD-TV.

Meanwhile, in Algoma Township, it appears voters have opted to stay with the Kent District Library.

In Holland, residents have voted to allow the sale of two lots on the waterfront to a private developer. Preliminary numbers are past a 60 percent threshold.
