GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - Officials with the Rapid say a "tap-and-pay" system has been added to their buses.
It was activated earlier this week.
The new payment option will work with Visa, Mastercard and Discover cards with the contactless symbol.
The system also works with Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay. Exact change, tickets and wave cards are still being accepted.
