Grand Rapids Police say 20-year-old Julius Hight was shot and killed in the city Friday night.
The incident happened near 28th Street and Englewood Avenue around 8 p.m.
GRPD Chief Eric Winstrom says Hight was walking down the sidewalk with a teenage boy when they were shot.
The 15-year-old boy was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Hight died at the hospital Saturday morning.
