MDOT supporting pollinators, planting native flowers

The Michigan Department of Transportation is planning to plant native pollinator species to help the environment.

Richard says there is thousands of miles of median available to plant native species like sunflowers, purple coneflowers and more.

The program has been around for a while but is expanding in the West Michigan area.
