The Allegan County conservation district is planting a pollinator garden after they signed a three-year lease agreement in the downtown area.
The half-acre plot is located at the corner of Trowbridge and Cedar streets.
The plot will include low-maintenance, native plants with an attempt to attract and grow pollinator populations, like bees.
The garden's renovation was paid for with a past millage and grant money.
