The John Ball Zoo will open for the season on Friday.
The zoo will feature new bald eagles, goats, sheep, a snow leopard, a coati and sloth this year.
A pygmy hippo exhibit is also expected to open this summer, however an opening date has not yet been announced.
The zoo will be open from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. through 6 p.m. on weekends through March and April.
