The federal government is filing a lawsuit accusing Tacos El Cuñado Alpine LLC of not paying workers overtime or the federal minimum wage.
The lawsuit was filed against the restaurant and manager Jessica Lopez.
The suit alleges employees were not paid a minimum of $7.25 per hour between August 2020 and August 2022.
The workers were also not tipped enough to qualify for paid tipped minimum wage.
