Woman on trial for allegedly embezzling $2M from Trinity Health

A former Trinity Health account manager is facing trial after she allegedly embezzled $2.27 million.

Sixty-year-old Cindy Norgren is charged with two felonies and faces more than 40 years in prison, if convicted.

Officials say suspicious activity in the hospital's bank account began in January 2020 and continued through December 2022.

Money was transferred to an account that was registered in Norgren's name.
