GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - A safety review is going to be conducted at a nightclub following a shooting over the weekend that killed a 30-year-old man.
Jontell White was killed on Division Avenue, just steps away from Metro Grand Rapids.
Chief Eric Wintstrom says GRPD has a good relationship with the club's owner, who has been described as responsive and cooperative in the murder investigation.
A man was shot and wounded at the club four years ago.
Another man was shot and killed two blocks from the venue last year. Police say he was on his way to the club.
