GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - Charles Burke has been named the new president and chief executive of Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park.
He will take over for David Hooker, who announced his retirement last year.
Burke has spent nearly the past decade as the president and chief executive of the War Memorial Association in Grosse Pointe Farms.
Burke was also spent time at the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.
