Helen DeVos Children's Hospital seeing rise in Strep A cases

Helen DeVos Children's Hospital is seeing increased cases of strep A infections.

Doctors say group A strep infections are rare, but they can lead to serious complications or death.

Dr. George Fogg says if the bacteria gets into the wrong part of your body, it can cause a lot of tissue destruction.

Fogg says the hospital has seen deaths from the infection in the past few months.
