Parking rates are increasing in 11 city-owned parking ramps.
Josh Naramore, director of Mobile GR, says half-hour rates have not increased since 2016.
Some of the rates are increasing to $2 per half-hour.
Naramore says the rates go through a lengthy review process and the city approves them before they are implemented.
Evening rates, event parking rates and monthly permit prices have not changed.
