Griffins, nonprofit to support mental health

The Grand Rapids Griffins and the West Michigan non-profit i understand are teaming up to support mental health this week.

The game on Saturday will show support to those affected by suicide or mental health issues.

The game is part of a league-wide program called 'Hockey Talks.'

Players will wear stickers on their helmets to show support.

Fans are encouraged to share messages on social media with the hashtags 'Hockey Talks' and 'I understand love heals'.
