The city of Grand Rapids is delaying the opening of Rosa Parks Circle ice rink, after weather conditions have not been favorable for ice.
The city says they will reassess their plan on Monday.
Crews spent this week working to set the rink, however as of Wednesday, the ice was not frozen enough for skaters or a Zamboni.
Once the season is underway, the rink will be open from 10 a.m. through 9:30 p.m. daily.
