GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - Today marks the 19th-annual Mel Trotter Ministries Turkey Drop.
Turkeys are being accepted at Celebration Cinema North, Celebration Cinema South and at the non-profit's downtown headquarters.
Donations are also being accepted online. "Turkey equivalent" donations are said to be $20.
They're hoping to collect 5,000 turkeys. Last year, the community donated more than 6,000 birds.
