The Grand Rapids City Commission is expected to approve water and sewer rate increases in December.
The vote is scheduled for December 13.
A report was presented to the commission on Wednesday that recommends raising sewer rates by 1.27% and raising water rates by 6.27% for Grand Rapids customers.
GR says the raises would add around $7.98 to the average customer's bill each quarter.
