The city of Grand Rapids says they have rebounded from the pandemic.
Grand Rapids City Manager Mark Washington says the city is seeing economic indicators of job growth, housing developments and commercial developments.
The city says they are seeing hotel occupancy, retail openings and foot traffic that is comparable to 2019.
GR says 21 new businesses have opened in the downtown area this year.
