GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - District Court Judge Nicholas Ayoub will rule this morning if former Grand Rapids police officer Christopher Schurr will face a second-degree murder charge at trial.

Schurr killed Patrick Lyoya in an officer-involved shooting in April.
During his preliminary hearing, Schurr's attorneys said the use of force was justified. Prosecutors said a jury should make that determination.
