GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP (WOOD-AM) - A 37-year-old Sparta man is in custody after a police chase in Ottawa County on Saturday.
Authorities say it started after he fled a traffic stop near Main and Baldwin streets in Georgetown Township.
Ottawa County Sheriff's deputies continued their pursuit until his car broke down on eastbound Interstate 196 near Chicago Drive.
Deputies say he was caught after he tried to run.
