WALKER (WOOD-AM) - The Golden Corral in Walker has closed after 12 years of business.
The restaurant closed Monday. It was the buffet chain's last restaurant in west Michigan.
A new Chick-Fil-A will be constructed on the Alpine Avenue site, according to documents submitted to the city's planning commission.
It's not clear when deconstruction of the current building - and construction of the new building - will start.
