COOPER TOWNSHIP, Mich. - The Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office says they arrested a man Sunday afternoon near Kalamazoo after raising an axe near deputies.
Authorities say it happened around 3:30 p.m. on West D Avenue near Douglas Avenue, when deputies were called to reports of an attempted vehicle theft as well as damage to private property.
