A funeral for Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety officer Christian Smith will be held on Friday.
KDPS says he died on Saturday at the age of 32, after a battle with leukemia.
Smith worked for the department for six years.
The ceremony is open to the public.
It will be held at Valley Family Church at 11 a.m. on Friday.
