Aquinas College has inaugurated Alicia Córdoba as the ninth president of the school.
She is the first woman to hold the position in the school's 136-year history.
Córdoba spent the last 19 years at Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois holding a variety of administrative and faculty positions.
Córdoba says she will work to make Aquinas College the premier college in the Midwest and beyond.
