KALAMAZOO (WOOD-AM) - Water and sewer customers in Kalamazoo will soon be seeing higher bills after city commissioners unanimously approved a 20 percent hike on water and wastewater rates.
The city's public works department says the increase is needed to cover rising costs.
Funds will also be used to pay for lead service line replacement and other projects.
