GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - Consumers Energy says several thousand of its customers lost their electricity throughout Kent and Ottawa counties yesterday amid windy conditions.
Utility officials say they expect to have power restored by midnight.
An estimated 8,000 utility customers were without service yesterday.
