GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - A woman is in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle Friday morning on southbound US-131.
Michigan State Police say it happened around 11:15 a.m. when a woman who was getting out of her car after slipping on an unknown substance that sent her into the wall near the Wealthy Street exit.
MSP is asking drivers to avoid the area while they investigate what substance was on the highway, and what led to the woman getting hit by another southbound vehicle.
