GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Professional Firefighters Local 366 says one person was found dead in a house fire on Bridge Street just after midnight on Tuesday.
One man was able to escape the second floor of the multi-unit house by jumping out of the window. He was taken to the hospital with injuries, the extent of which are unknown.
The names of the victims were not released, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
