Kent County prosecutor Chris Becker says he will announce his decision on charges in the Lyoya case on Thursday.
He will hold a news conference at 3 p.m.
The investigation into the April 4 shooting death of Patrick Lyoya by Officer Chris Schurr was turned over to Becker on April 28.
However, the report was missing forensic information from the officer's body camera and taser.
On May 18, Becker announced he would seek expert guidance on the case, however he did not announce who he would be consulting.
