LANSING (WOOD-AM) - The Michigan Supreme Court has rejected a lawsuit filed by Donna Brandenburg, who is trying to get her name on the August GOP primary ballot in the race for governor.

Brandenburg was found to be short of the required number of petition signatures when the Board of State Canvassers ruled she and four others were ineligible.

The other four have also lost legal challenges. Southeast Michigan businessman Perry Johnson has filed a suit in federal court.
