GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Michigan State Police Criminal Justice Information Center confirmed 1,131 traffic deaths in 2021, the highest number of traffic deaths since there were 1,129 fatalities in 2005.
MSP also said that the number of alcohol-involved fatalities increased from 2020 to last year by 10%.
