The city of Grand Rapids is opening its first accessible canoe and kayak launch.
The EZ launch is located in Riverside Park.
The project was funded with $80,000 from the Grand Rapids' parks millage fund and $150,000 from a grant from the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.
The launch features added handicap parking spaces, paved pathways that are 8-feet-wide and handicap accessible bathrooms.
