Barry County Sheriff's deputies have performed several rescues on the Thornapple River since April.
Officials say a total of 10 adults, one child and three dogs have been rescued.
Deputies say the river isn't closed however they are recommending the public take extreme caution while on the water.
The department posted on Facebook saying there is a large dead fall on a sharp turn just upstream from Center Road that is causing problems for kayakers.
