KEENE TOWNSHIP, Mich. - On Wednesday evening, a motorcyclist from Ionia was killed after being by an SUV near Lowell.
The 48-year-old was hit near the intersection of Sayles Road and Whites Bridge Road by a vehicle driven by a 79-year-old Belding woman.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, and Ionia County Sheriff's deputies believe speed was a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
