GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The budget for the Grand Rapids Police Department will shrink by $130,000, while the city's Oversight and Public Accountability's will grow to $2.3 million from under $406,000.
If the spending plan, which is proposed to total up to $597 million, is approved, it will go into effect July 1.
