The DeltaPlex Arena & Conference Center is announcing it will permanently close this summer.
DeltaPlex President Joel Langlois says they plan to shut down July 31.
Langlois said in a memo he is closing the arena due to COVID-19 hardships as well as a personal choice that it is time to move on.
The venue was built in 1952 and has hosted expos, shows, concerts and sporting events.
