BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities say no one was injured after an evening fire destroyed a home in Kalamazoo County.
The fire broke out at the home on 4205 Nicols Road near Minges Road in Battle Creek. Authorities are not sure how the fire started but say the 911 call came in around 9:41 p.m. Friday.
Firefighters arrived on scene to discover there was no hydrants nearby, so assistance, and tanker trucks, had to be called to fight the flames.
