GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- An Ottawa County Sheriff's sergeant says an SUV went off a road in Georgetown Township around 11:30 a.m. Sunday and slammed into a house.
It was on Windgate Drive, near 28th Avenue and Baldwin Street. Police said the vehicle traveled through multiple yards before hitting the house.
The OCSO said in a news release the driver was the only one in the vehicle. The 54-year-old Jenison man suffered minor injuries. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
No one in the house was hurt.
Georgetown Township Fire-Rescue responded to the scene, as did Life Ambulance.
