ALLENDALE (WOOD-AM) - Voters in Allendale have rejected a school bond proposal for the second time.

This time, school district officials were asking voters to consider an $88 million proposal, which would have been used to relocate a wood shop and build an expanded high school cafeteria and a field house.

A similar request failed last summer.

Here are more election results from Kent and Ottawa counties.

Statewide, 24 of the 44 school bond issues were rejected by state voters.

There were 39 millage renewals or restorations on ballots around the state and those requests were passed.
