The KCSO said the suspect ran away from the home before police arrived. The sheriff's office is asking for the public's help in locating 39-year-old Andres Simon-Salgado, who is wanted for questioning in connection with the incident.
"He was last seen wearing a black or gray jacket, blue jeans, a long-sleeved black shirt, a black baseball cap, and carrying a red bag. His clothing may have changed," the KCSO said in a news release. "Simon-Salgado is known to frequent the Greenville area and is considered armed and dangerous. Federal authorities have been notified due to Simon-Salgado having an open investigation for illegal re-entry into the United States."
